Refund Policy

Our refund policy runs in accordance with your statutory rights which states you are entitled to a refund if your product develops a fault in the first 30 days from the date of purchase. If your appliance develops a fault within the first 30 days you are eligible for a full refund minus the delivery fee. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange, your warranty then becomes repair only.

To complete your refund, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where refunds would not be granted within the first 30 days:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
  • Any item that has been opened/dismantled or attempted to be repaired by anybody other than Stockport Appliance Centre.

Once your appliance is inspected we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges

We only replace your appliance if it is deemed uneconomical to repair, in this instance we would replace the appliance for a like for like option subject to stock availability we cannot always guarantee the same spec.
